Life saving skills for dog caregivers

To have a dog as part of your family is to love them unconditionally, just as they love you. They are curious, playful, adventurous, fun, loving, and bound to get in trouble at some point! In the life of a dog it’s not a question of if, but when there may be an injury, medical concern, or accident.

This course will help you learn about accident prevention, and how to appropriately respond when they do happen. You are always the person in between your dog and the medical care they need. The ability to recognize a problem, stay calm, and stabilize and support your dog in the precious time it takes to seek care can be the difference between life and death for them. Most of us live in an area where emergency vet care can be over an hour away. Knowing what to do in that time is essential as a pet owner or caretaker.

Courses are provided on site or at a site of your choosing and all founded and certified through Canine Health Canada.
